At B.E.A.M Esteem, our programs are built around connection, confidence, and community. We bring caregivers, seniors, and individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities together through meaningful activities that spark joy, build skills, and strengthen independence. Whether we’re creating, learning, moving, or simply sharing time, each program is designed to nurture belonging and empower every person to shine in their own way.

Dedicated volunteers are at the heart of the safety and support system. Through one‑on‑one guidance and hands‑on assistance during every outing, they help ensure each participant—regardless of individual needs—feels safe, supported, and empowered to explore with confidence.

Specialized, low‑impact outings thoughtfully designed for seniors, these experiences prioritize comfort, social connection, and the joy of community. From peaceful visits to botanical gardens to relaxed lakeside socials, each outing helps seniors stay connected, engaged, and truly celebrated.

RayBeams (Travel & Outings)

Our main travel club, offering inclusive community trips and shared adventures for seniors and individuals with intellectual disabilities. Participants enjoy safe, supportive outings to local attractions, restaurants, and destinations that promote independence, confidence, and connection. Each experience is thoughtfully planned with accessibility and comfort in mind, creating opportunities for friendship and meaningful memories.

The Heart of Belonging

Isolation ends where community begins. Our social programs are designed to create a vibrant space where seniors and individuals with disabilities can build genuine friendships through shared experiences. Whether it’s a group dinner at a local favorite or a day trip to an Indiana attraction, every event is an opportunity to practice social confidence in an environment built on total inclusion. We don't just host events; we create a space where every participant is seen, heard, and celebrated.

Travel Training

We believe that the world should be accessible to everyone. Our Travel Training program is a comprehensive "roadmap" to independence for those ready to explore further. This isn't just about movement; it’s about the logistics of life.

What Travel Training Looks Like:

The Digital Path: Hands-on guidance on how to search for and book flights and accessible hotel accommodations.
Navigation Skills: Learning to move through airports and transit hubs with confidence.
Budgeting & Planning: Understanding the costs of travel and how to prepare for a trip from start to finish.
